I had the pleasure of working at IC2, a commercialization thinktank sponsored by the University of Texas at Austin. I studied and consulted with technology innovators for the Global Commercialization Group.
I conducted on-site research in Suwon, South Korea, collecting video and observational data. The project focused on coding this data for communication strategies, culminating in a number of scholarly articles and my dissertation.
The short of it is, I am interested in sociotechnical networks and the ways they shape and are shaped by human-computer interaction. I'm comfortable with qualitative data collection and analysis, as well as presenting that analysis in a reasoned, sustained argument.
